San Nicasio Wasabi combines the ultra-thin crunch of the Spanish Agria potato with the fresh heat of real wasabi. Clean green notes on the nose; on the palate, a delicate crunch, a balanced potato base and a gentle heat that rises softly and fades without bitterness, rounded off by pink Himalayan salt.
Like all San Nicasio varieties, they are made the traditional way: non-GMO Spanish "Agria" potatoes are peeled, cut, washed and slowly fried at low temperature (120–140 °C) in extra virgin olive oil P.D.O. Priego de Córdoba — the "liquid gold" from the centuries-old olive groves of the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park.
